Most lectures are held in the RNZAF Museum, Theatrette; enter the Wigram base at Harvard Avenue, off Main South Road just 100m south of the Sockburn Overbridge. The Museum carpark is a short distance inside the site which was formerly the RNZAF Base Wigram

: Upset Prevention and Recovery Training
Malcolm Taylor has been with Air NZ for 33 years and currently flies the 787. His role covers the jet fleets, effectively now just the 787 and A320/321. Loss of control in flight is the accident category which has had the highest number of fatalities over the last 20 years. Malcolm will attempt to explain some of the work that is under way at both regulatory and industry level, along with background on how we got to where we are and some of the major challenges to overcome.
