This month the Wellington Branch is running an evening event comprising short presentations and a panel style question and answer session,
titled "Career Opportunities for Women in Aviation".

This informative event is open to all students, lecturers, teachers, aviation industry professionals, enthusiasts and anyone, not just females, involved with young people who may be considering a career in aviation. This is also an occasion where those with an interest in aviation can find out about the range of great jobs available working with aircraft.

PLEASE forward the invite to all young people who may be interested.

Xero require that we give them a list of people attending so please follow the instructions in the attached Wings & Things.
For the April Wellington Branch meeting Des Ashton gave a presentation "Things Fall Off Aircraft" covering many of the 'mishaps' that occurred during his extensive career of 24 years in the RNZAF.

Des' intro probably best describes his interesting talk "A collection of disparate and disjointed tales and reflections of TFOAs, defects, incidents and accidents before the days of Software."
