Wellington branch - Monthly meeting "Digital Revolution in Aircraft Maintenance"
THURSDAY 25 OCTOBER 2018
Digital Revolution in Aircraft Maintenance
5:30pm for a 6:00pm start
National SCOUT Centre, Level 1, 1 Kaiwharawhara Road, Wellington
Hi everyone - a reminder and invitation to the above presentation "Digital Revolution in Aircraft Maintenance" by Andrew Hewitt on Thursday 25 October.
The aviation industry is always looking for opportunities to reduce costs. "Big data" has been making headlines in several industries, promising to revolutionize the way in which businesses are able to make decisions. As new aircraft (787) generate more in-flight data compared to older ones, innovative analysis methods enable the processing of substantial amounts of data in a short amount of time.
Join us on Thursday 25 October 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start at the National SCOUT Centre, Level 1, 1 Kaiwharawhara Road, Wellington (opposite Spotlight ). Remember all our presentations are open to members, friends and the public.
Next week: Friday 26 October is the New Zealand Division Symposium "Emerging Aerospace Technologies – Road to Space" at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor, 147 The Terrace, Wellington.
In the evening we have the NZ Division AGM and Awards Dinner.
The Defence Minister, Ron Mark, has accepted our invitation to attend the awards dinner. He may also drop in to part of the symposium during the day if his diary opens up.
And now the invitation:
On Thursday evening 25 October the Wellington Branch has their monthly meeting as above and you are invited.
John Cook has volunteered to coordinate anyone who would like a ride from their Wellington Thursday night accommodation to the National SCOUT Centre at Kaiwharawhara. 04 293 5383 or 027 231 5009
