SUBJECT: The A4K/G Skyhawk in RNZAF service, post-KAHU, 1990-2000.
TIME: 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start
VENUE: National SCOUT Centre, Level 1, 1 Kaiwharawhara Road, Wellington (opposite Spotlight) – Gold coin donation please.

This month Steve Moore will complete the story about the RNZAF Skyhawks. This presentation follows on from where John Lanham left off in his July presentation to the Branch and covers the period post the Kahu update.

Last month Paul Harrison recalled the history of the Bell Iroquois helicopter during service with the RNZAF from 1966 – 2015. The 16 Iroquois operated by the air force during these years flew in many parts of the world from the UK to the Antarctic. The role of the Iroquois ranged from pure military missions, to Search and Rescue in New Zealand, civil tasks for other government agencies, South Pacific relief work following natural disasters, and military intervention forces in Bougainville, The Solomons and East Timor.

Members, friends and all interested in Steve's presentation are welcome and encouraged to join us - National SCOUT Centre 5:30 for 6:00pm start – Thursday 26 October Level 1, 1 Kaiwharawhara Road, Wellington (opposite Spotlight). Please forward on to anyone that maybe interested.
