This month John Lanham will talk about the A4K/G Skyhawk in RNZAF service, pre-KAHU Update, 1970-1990. John Lanham's years in the RNZAF included the decision making of the 1960s on the Canberra B(I)12 replacement, the introduction of the Skyhawk and eventually three flying tours on the aircraft, totalling 1000 Skyhawk hours.

Amongst the highlights for him were numerous deployments including Vanguards to SEA, RIMPAC in Hawaii and Cope Thunder in the Philippines, the celebrated Kin Nan incident, leading the aerobatic team, the acquisition of the RAN Skyhawks and the reforming of No 2 Squadron.
